Bathing the deck of played cards from The Sands Las Vegas. I give tea-dyed papers a bath in baking soda in water to neutralize the tannic acid of the tea. Then I dry them in the sun. First, I wait for a dry sunny day with no wind, when I can tend to them all day. That's what I'm doing out front in the yard/garden every couple of months or so. 19 February 2025: I finally found the eight of Wands/Clubs, cleaning up the tea deck project lower down in the rubble pile of tea dyed sheets of paper. Not bathed yet. Past time to boil up a new batch of rice glue. Clearing kitchen mixed media mess and delayed maintenance.
