A live ambient exploration using field recordings (Ennis, Ireland) two DIY noiseboxes, two analog radios, Bioscape vst, the Novation Peak synth, Spitfire audio's Albion Neo strings, Zoom ms 70 CDR effects pedal and Eventide Blackhole reverb. The noiseboxs are amplified with piezoelectric sensors, and I am using paintbrushes to play them. The signals are then sent through ambient reverb and delay effects. The two analog radio signals (one tuned to a talk show, one tuned and drifting halfway between stations) are sent through a passive duel switcher, with two source, sends, mute and volume controls. The radio signals are then sent to the mixing desk, which has the zoom CDR delays on an aux chain, then to Logic and routed through a backwards delay and a stereo delay. The Novation Peak is playing a custom morphing low drone patch. I'm playing Albion Neo strings and Bioscape on the Arturia controller, and the first four faders on the Arturia are controlling live the volume of the field recordings, and instances of Bioscape during the recording.
