Amhrán Mhuínse is a lament sung from the perspective of an old woman on her deathbed who wants to be laid to rest with her own people in Muinis, near Carna in Connemara on the west coast of Ireland, and not in Leitir Caladh where her husband and his people are laid to rest. Padraig Jack is a bilingual singer songwriter from largest of the Aran islands who comes from a musical family, his sister Aisling sings backing vocals on this track.
