FoosFit - a robotic training tool for foosball A mechanical defensive device for foosball practice that is programmable to suit your style of play. Anyone playing competitive foosball knows that training is much more productive against a moving defense, but you'd be hard pressed to find someone to only move rods around. Looking through YouTube you'll find many examples of automated robotic foosball projects, but their solutions seem cost prohibitive, involve a lengthy installation, require too much space, and/or aren't made with a tournament player in mind.  After two years of work with a group of university students, we were able to solve all of those problems. The FoosFit is affordable, compact, and easy to install on any table.    The prototype version we debuted at the Tornado Championships (shown in the main campaign video) contained two simple controls, one slider for speed and one dial for range, and positioning of each rod had to be manually adjusted before turning the FoosFit on.  This version was also fairly complicated to install, attachment was limited to a specific foosball table, and motors would seize if the rod hit the wall too hard.   Starting Pledge: US$ 1 URL: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...
