Visuals show a dramatic flood rescue in Sukma, Chhattisgarh, where a civilian was saved from the raging Sabari river. The operation was executed by the Indian Air Force's (IAF) Mi-17 V-5 helicopter with Garud commandos on board. This rescue is one of several missions conducted by the IAF over the last week to save people stranded in floods. According to the report, hundreds and thousands of lives have already been saved in these ongoing operations. The missions are described as very difficult because of the "inclement weather" and "raging rivers." Despite these challenges, the armed forces are continuing their efforts to safeguard lives, with the footage capturing one such heroic incident. #chhattisgarh #sukma #iaf #itwebvideos #indianairforce #floodrescue #rescueoperation #garudcommandos #mi17v5 #floods #sabaririver #indiatoday #viralvideo #heroicrescue #chhattisgarhfloods #naturaldisaster Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
