Strat is focused on ranged units and only few types of resources: Wood, Metal, Wheat, Ore, Gold and Whine. For start bonus pick additional units, so you dont have to make units at all for a while (king 1st ability gives 3 peasants). Get early market to produce gold and use 3rd king ability to get Metal / Flour / Whine / Wood. Focus on upgrading gaze first. 1 - 2 - Tile Seals - 3. Dont get greedy on waves. Just pick basic waves. Can stack all Wallbreakers in 1 wave, so you dont loose units and get rewards, you may lose some castle hp but its OK. Advisors: -Automaton: 5 tree + 5 wheat field is rly good -Ember: 2 musketeers carry early game -Flunkey: gives alot of Denarii through the game without adding difficulty to the waves -Sophy: can get early Forge or two and tier 3 Barracks: ballista, catapults without adding difficulty to the waves -Manager: +2 unit limit is always nice. Bigger army = bigger damage = less army loss. -Gustav: 5% boost to economy. Probably could pick better, but I like doing solid eco first. Buildings: T1 production: Iron mine / Tree / Small Wheat Field T2: Sawmill / Iron mine. If you dont get in first 2 rolls Recycle dont pick other fields becouse it will add to the upgrade pool T3: Only Forge. Try to get 1 or 2. Recycle if you dont get it so you dont add to the upgrade pool. T1 Barracks: Archery. Can get Assassins or Milita to tank some dmg (I got early Assassins with +200% HP buff so I had some of them) T2: Longbowmens, Musketeers. Problem with T2 is that there is high building pool, so you can just focus on T3 Barracks instead. T3: Catapult, Ballista. Catas are good vs lots of enemies while Ballista pushes enemies back so good vs Bosses. Dont pick other buildings becouse it will be harder to get upgrades on desired units. 1 or 2 rolls if dont get it just recycle.
