Here’s my idea for using our folded paper technique for the 8 x 8” album. This provides quick base pages that can be used “ as-is” or punched/embellished to add that extra personal touch. Quickly made base pages frees you to spend more time on choosing, trimming, and placing photos and your journaling notes to help preserve those precious memories. Directions: 1)Take the 8 x 8 white card stock out of the pockets save for other projects. 2)Turn your papers so you see both sides, can be cut this way too 3)Cut 4 inches off your 12 inch paper, be mindful of directionality 4)Set the 4” x 12” pieces aside for now 5)Look at your 12” x 8” pieces left Decide which side you want to be solid, which you want to fold, and which side(s) you’ll be folding(it can be any measurement that adds up to 4 inches folded: 1”/3”, 2”/2”, 1 1/2” and 2 1/2”, etc.) 6)Score your paper, fold (with a straight edge if you wish) 7)Slide your folded piece into the side-loading pocket. 8)Continue until you have filled all the pockets. 9)Now decide which photos will go on which pages and if you want to add embellishments. photo mats(use this 4” x 12” pieces to cut mats and/ or punch borders,etc.) 10)Punch edges of pages if desired 11)Adhere your folded papers, photos, mats, journaling and embellishments 12)Enjoy your beautiful creation!
