Sims 2: You can adopt a toddler using the phone. The agency will come drop the child off even if your at work and leave them outside the house by themselves! Like real toddlers they will get into things when you are not paying attention to them and they can be very demanding of attention. They will play with toys and sometimes choose one sim over another sim to give their attention to. I really enjoyed the many iterations and choices given in Sims 2 when it came to toddlers. Sims 3: I entered a household that already had a toddler and got right into taking of them. Like in the Sims 2 they can be very demanding of both attention and what they want. They will choose certain toys to play with over ones and you can potty train them. You can teach your toddler how to walk in this one as well. Sims 4: In The Sims 4 your toddlers are really life like, they make their own decisions when it comes to going to bed and going to the potty. You must buy them a toddler bed in order for them to to sleep properly or they will just zonk out anywhere; much like a real toddler. You can really get into the different detailed personality traits and make them exactly how you want them.
