The Octal Six is 28 watts of rich harmonics, reminiscent of a 50's era Tweed but with non of the sacrifices. It uses an all octal tube design that promote two, 8-pin preamp tubes that were popular in old project amps like the "Film-O-Sound" and two 7591 power tubes like we heard in hi-fi audio equipment and even 70's Ampeg designs.
