EHPHRO 80 Watt TC Mod SPD A8 a quick peek inside the Mod. Hey guys, I wanted to follow up my video review from yesterday when I posted a review for this 80 watt mod with Temp Control. The mod is so light and comfy, tough and resilient. Powerful and yet with some nice accurate TC settings. Firmware updateable to 120 Watts! I was curious, and then I got quite a few questions from viewers privately asking me to look inside and show what/how the batteries look inside. So why did I open up this regulated device to take a peek? Because we all know that folks are curious and some will want to know. So this satisfies your curiosity, now you know. Dual 18650 batteries Soldered and wired into the board. Some folks were wondering if this box opens up to swap out batteries. Nope. Well I should say...not easily, and not like you would replace batteries in a Sigelei or IPV. You should NOT go messing around with this device if you don't know mod construction, wiring, chips, electrical circuitry...there should be no need for anybody to mess about in there. The manufacturer won't appreciate anybody fiddling in there either, and are obviously not responsible for any user error resulting from opening this mod like I have. But here ya go. Curiosity satisfied. Oh, and another thing, this answers another question: When the internal batteries reach the end of their useful life you won't be using this mod again. Similar to how the Istick 50 watt is laid out.
