Join now, it's free! 👇 https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va8g... 🚨 Breaking Political Developments in Pakistan! 🚨 PTI Protest Outside Islamabad High Court | Imran Khan & Bushra Bibi Case Hearing Delayed Today’s scheduled hearing on the appeals for the suspension of sentences of PTI Patron-in-Chief Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi could not take place due to the leave of one of the judges at the Islamabad High Court. Acting Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif were assigned to hear the appeals in the £190 million corruption case, but the proceedings were postponed as Justice Asif was on leave. According to the cause list issued by the Registrar Office of the Islamabad High Court a day earlier, the bench was to review the bail pleas today. Earlier, the court had given NAB time until today to appoint a Special Public Prosecutor. On NAB’s request, the June 5 hearing was adjourned without any proceedings. NAB was also issued a notice during the May 15 hearing to submit its response. Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi have requested suspension of their sentences and release on bail. On January 17, the Accountability Court sentenced Imran Khan to 14 years and Bushra Bibi to 7 years in prison. Due to the hearing being postponed, PTI members of the assembly and supporters staged a strong protest outside the Islamabad High Court.
