Stand Up Paddle (SUP) is one of the fastest-growing water sports in the world and is gradually gaining momentum in India. This cinematic short film documents Stand Up Paddle surfing activity organised by Mumbai Surfing Club along the coast of Maharashtra (Rajodi Beach) through aerial and ground cinematography. The objective of this film is to visually showcase the emerging SUP and surfing culture developing around Mumbai and the Maharashtra coastline. As water sports continue to grow in India with the support and recognition of organisations such as the Surfing Federation of India (SFI) and the Sports Authority of India (SAI), documenting these sports through cinematic storytelling becomes increasingly important. This film is part of an independent visual initiative by Cinedronex to highlight outdoor sports, ocean culture and athletic performance through professional drone and camera cinematography. The event also featured participation and support from leading sports and lifestyle brands including Red Bull, along with the growing Indian paddle and surf community. Filmed using aerial drone cinematography and edited in DaVinci Resolve to create a cinematic sports visual experience.
