A straightforward process for a standard set-up, however, this beating heart has been fitted with a 5-speed gearbox, and as a result, the drivetrain is lengthened, making what was already a tight fit, even trickier. Traditionally a Series 1 engine and gearbox are removed from 'dropping' the engine from below, however, this particular engine requires the drivetrain to be installed from above.
