MST retractor assist for IOL exchange

Here we show an IOL exchange where we had some extraction issues This patient had functional problems from dysphotopsia related to their PanOptic MF IOL. We exchanged the existing PanOptic for a LI61AO aspheric silicone IOL which in my experience is the IOL most likely to help with positive dysphotopsia. However as is often the case the terminal bulb of the PanOptic haptic was fused to the capsule making dissection of the IOL difficult. Here we used a single MST capsule retractor to hold the capsule steady during viscoelastic dissection of the haptic to preserve capsule and decrease zonule stress. I learned this great trick from Dr Steven Safran. Thank you for any comments
