Municipal Code Changes Concerning Dimensional Standards, Design Standards, and Definitions – Public Hearing (Trustee Packet Page #56) Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Ordinance No. 08, Series 2025 entitled, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA AMENDING MULTIPLE SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 16 OF THE BUENA VISTA MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING DIMENSIONAL STANDARDS, DESIGN STANDARDS, AND DEFINITIONS.” The Board will consider approving Ordinance No. 08 amending multiple sections of Chapter 16 of the Buena Vista municipal code concerning dimensional standards, design standards, and definitions. B. Chaffee Housing Authority Intergovernmental Agreement Amendment (Trustee Packet Page #98) Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 50, Series 2025 entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING THE SECOND AMENDED AND RESTATED INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR THE CHAFFEE COUNTY MULTIJURISDICTIONAL HOUSING AUTHORITY.” The Board will consider approving Resolution No. 50 approving the second amended and restated intergovernmental agreement for the Chaffee County Multijurisdictional Authority. C. General Fund Emergency Reserve Policy (Trustee Packet Page #114) The Board will review the existing General Fund emergency reserve policy and consider a recommendation to update the reserve amount. D. Adoption of Financial Policies, Investment Policy, and Financial Reserve Policy (Trustee Packet Page #116) Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 51, Series 2025 entitled, Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 52, Series 2025 entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, ADOPTING THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA INVESTMENT POLICY TO GUIDE THE INVESTMENT OF PUBLIC FUNDS.” This Agenda may be Amended Posted at Buena Vista Town Hall, Post Office and www.buenavistaco.gov on Thursday, July 3, 2025 Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 53, Series 2025 entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, ADOPTING THE FINANCIAL RESERVE POLICY ESTABLISHING RESERVE LEVELS FOR ALL MAJOR FUNDS, INCLUDING INCREASING THE GENERAL FUND EMERGENCY RESERVE FROM 27% TO 42% OF ANNUAL OPERATING EXPENDITURES.” The Board will consider approving Resolution No. 51 adopting updated Financial Policies, Resolution No. 52 adopting the updated Investment Policy, and Resolution No. 53 adopting the updated Financial E. Core Services Policy for the Town of Buena Vista (Trustee Packet Page #133) Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 54, Series 2025 entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, ADOPTING THE CORE SERVICES POLICY FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA.” The Board will consider approving Resolution No. 54 adopting a Core Services Policy. F. Employee Handbook Update (Trustee Packet Page #140) Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 55, Series 2025 entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO AMENDING THE EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO.” The Board will consider approving Resolution No. 55 amending the employee handbook for the Town of Buena Vista, Colorado. G. Support for Public Lands (Trustee Packet Page #185) Should the Board of Trustees approve the adoption of Resolution No. 56, Series 2025 entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, SUPPORTING PUBLIC LANDS.” The Board will consider approving Resolution No. 56 supporting public lands.
