August 2025 we did something no one had ever done before – cycled 300km across Turkmenistan, from Ashgabat all the way to the infamous Gates of Hell. Two days, brutal heat, empty desert roads, and then finishing at a roaring pit of fire in the Karakum. It was insane. It was life-changing. And now… we’re doing it all over again. Welcome to the Highway to Hell UltraCycle 2026. This isn’t about being the fittest cyclist on earth. It’s about saying yes to adventure. It’s about testing yourself in a place almost nobody ever gets to see. Turkmenistan is the world’s most closed-off country, and we’ve got special permission to ride straight through it. You don’t need to be a pro – if you can ride a bike, you can finish this. Year 1 we had breakdowns, blisters, tears, and more laughs than I thought possible.
