Istanbul (Day1) - Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Sultanahmet Square & Hafiz Mustafa - Travel Vlog (#12)

We started our day from Istanbul International Airport by taking the Havaist Bus till Aksaray. There we got off the bus and went our hotel, Yuksel Yenikapi. The hotel is located close to public transport and is near all the major historical tourist sites in Istanbul. Taking the T1 Tram we got off at Sultanahmet and explored Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque as well as the Tomb of Sultan Ahmed I. The gigantic proportions of Hagia Sophia becomes apparent when one enters within. We wandered around the Sultanahmet Square and saw the German Fountain, the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpent Column as well as the Walled Obelisk. On our way back to the hotel we glimpsed past the Burnt Column and also tasted the famous Baklavas of Hafiz Mustafa as well as their strong Turkish Coffee.
