Born in El Salvador and raised in Texas, she moved to Miami, Florida, when she entered the convent at age 18. She professed her first vows in 2018 and perpetual vows on February 11, 2024. Sr. Alexia obtained her bachelor's degree in Theology and Philosophy from Holy Apostles College and Seminary and received an MBA from the University of Dallas (May 2024). She currently serves as Director of the Novitiate within her religious institute and as Spiritual Director of the Hispanic Young Adults of the Archdiocese of Miami.
