I finally went ahead a did a battery replacement. Save me a bunch of money instead of buying a new set of earbuds. Here is the video of me doing the replacement. It is not as hard a thought but you still have be careful. What you need, Z52H coin battery, heat gun, razor blade, some plastic prying tools or guitar picks. If the battery didn't come with foam spacer adhesive on it, you'll need a small piece of foam to act as a spacer so the battery can make contact. And some glue. There are kits on amazon that has all of this besides the heat gun. Step 1: Turn off bluetooth on your devices connected to the linkbuds. Step 2: Use a heat gun to loosen the adhesive on the seams, use tweezers to hold the earbuds while heating it for a 1 or 2 minutes. Step 3: Use the razer blade to dig into the seam and create the opening. The important thing to watch is, the flex cable is on the opposite side of the Sony logo, so be careful and not thrust the blade to deep on that section. After the adhesive is loosened enough, use the plastic prying tools to make the opening bigger. Step 4: Once the case is opened up, don't take it completely off, it should hang off on the flex cable a bit. Pry out the old battery with the plastic tools. Then insert the new battery, make sure the foam piece is on the inside if not already on the battery. Step 5: Reglue the seam and hold the earbud for a minute to let the glue harden. Then plug the buds back into the case for a few minutes and test the bluetooth.
