From then up until recently; this lift used to be a Kone Alta from 2004-05; but it travelled at 43 seconds from bottom to top (it also had an overhead screen showing the lift shaft); 20 years later... Kone replaced this lift as well as the service lift into Kone DX MiniSpace. While this lift was being upgraded, visitors and tourists had to use the service lift (which looks posh for a lift like that; with wooden floorboards); on the other hand; it does use KUKN as the lift's voice. As for this lift, it now travels at 38 seconds (similar to the observation lift at Melbourne's Eureka Tower (when going from lobby to Level 88)); what makes this a tad bit faster? Kone's UltraRope hoisting! Since the lift was replaced, the show instead of the screen above is the screens of the lift's walls (showing the Gold Coast skyline (with extra quirk to it!)); and also, the lights dim when the lift starts to travel up or down...
