MultiCare Health System has opened the first in a new line of urgent care clinics that bring together convenience and high-touch services to patients in the Puget Sound. Located at James Center in Tacoma, the first MultiCare Indigo Urgent Care clinic opened June 17, 2016. MultiCare Indigo Urgent Care features an ambiance similar to a coffee shop or hotel. Patients will be met by a health care “concierge” who will see to their needs from the time they walk in the door to the time they go on their way. Amenities such as complimentary espresso, water, Wi-Fi service and charging stations create a relaxing environment. Indigo Urgent Care treats many conditions, including allergies, cold and flu symptoms, earaches, fevers, minor burns or bruises, minor fractures or sprains, rash or poison ivy, sore throat, immunizations, skin complaints and urinary tract infections.
