102 Strings Volume 2 directed by Ralph Carmichael (C) Sacred Records This is the sacred version of the 101 Strings, only in this case, it's the 102 strings directed by the one and only Ralph Carmichael. I'd venture to say this album is probably from around 1967. Ralph picked several of his well-known songs for this particular album. They are as follows: 1. He's Everything to Me 2. For By Grace 3. Love is Surrender 4. I Looked Into His Face 5. Reach Out to Jesus 6. All My Life 7. Beyond All Time 8. For Ever and Ever 9. Precious the Moments 10. A Quiet Place He says on the back of the album that he originally intended to duplicate his first "102 Strings" album, but chose to go a little more "contemporary" (I'd use that term loosely) in order to attract the non-church crowd. I don't know if he succeeded with this album or not but I think it's interesting that Christian musicians even 50 years ago were trying to stay "relevant" to their generation. DISCLAIMER: I love Christian music from the 1950s and 60s but it's very hard to find, especially in good condition.
