Built entirely by one man, Angelcynn Heall (Old English for “English Nation Hall”) is the largest natural cruck mead hall in the world. It's a structure made from eight massive oak timbers that curve from floor to roof without a single nail. Over 24 years, Cyning built this hall alone, carving, joining, and shaping every beam by hand. His goal wasn’t just to build a home but to preserve something ancient: the craftsmanship, pride, and spirit of England’s early history. In this video I delved into the incredible craftsmanship, philosophy, and story behind this one-of-a-kind creation, and what drove a British craftsman to recreate a piece of Anglo-Saxon England in the middle of Wyoming.
