While I was relaxing at our rooftop in the evening last week, this cute Spotted #Dove (Spilopelia chinensis) decided come towards me and sing me a song. It was like it came to me to say something which I sadly couldn't understand. Anyway. I hope you too will enjoy its song which I am sharing here. The #SpottedDove or a #MountainDove is a common bird of the Indian subcontinent. You will find the details and my observational remarks about these birds below. Bird Information: Name= Spotted Dove Sci name= Spilopelia chinensis Other names: Mountain dove, pearl necked dove, lace necked dove, or spotted turtle dove. Consv status= Least Concern (IUCN 3.1) Distribution= Native to the Indian Subcontinent and worldwide, mostly as introduced. My further notes and observations: I will update this section later.
