If you are wondering why I miscast a lot, it is because I play without macros. Any fps drops will also have an impact on my casting + having OBS open makes my casts a lot less consistent. It's an uphill battle to record Riftwalker gameplay lol. I have a tendency to cast Heal instead of Ice Snake due to the spells being very similar. This isn't really a negative thing for me but it is negative for rage / ssac players who aren't using Fallen / Hunted Mode. Still learning Mage.... I'm an Archer main lol. Typical spell cycles are Ice Snake - Meteor - Melee, Heal - Meteor - Melee, Teleport - Meteor - Melee. Hotbar Slot 1: Lunar Spine - Good for regaining back mana quickly in one melee if you miscast a lot and lose mana. Hotbar Slot 2: Singularity - Main Weapon Hotbar Slot 3: Cascade - Chain Lightning + Walkspeed + Mana Regen Offhand. You could use Bonder instead. Hotbar Slot 4: Pure - Not necessary but... Gravity Well is a nice Major ID for pulling things. Especially useful for instances like 42:15 where my teammate is pulling the Void Matter Room Miniboss to the door (which is an easy way to fail the room since the miniboss will spawn Void Starved's directly into the void hole). Note that Pure has half the dps output of Singularity pre Curse and does not even provide Curse so its not great all the time. Thanks to Buying/Qira for selling me the Pure. Hotbar Slot 5: Rune of Stamina - Trinket that gives Speed I for 3 minutes with a cooldown of 2 minutes. I don't really use it often but it's nice I guess. Most people use Speed Surges instead which I find cringe but you can use those if you want. - - My solo fail on the last run was pretty tragic but I was pretty tired at that point (I was about 4 hours into playing Riftwalker Singularity) and didn't react to Rend the Barrier (Rushes / Charges) correctly. When playing flying combat mage, the best way to avoid Rend the Barrier is to simply teleport up into the ceiling as Greg can't really reach you. I teleported to the side instead allowing myself to get hit by the double Rend the Barrier. You could also kinda tell I was tired by how I was missing meteors in the flying cycle.
