IRAN HITS BACK LIVE: Iran Launches Attacks on Israel, Targets Across the Middle East | Kuwait | Dubai Attack LIVE | CNBC TV18 Iran escalated attacks on Israel and targets across the Middle East, with four U.S. service members killed. Three U.S. fighter jets were downed by Kuwaiti friendly fire. Eleven people were killed in Israel, officials said, with deaths reported in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain. Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon fired missiles at Israel, which responded with its own strikes. Dozens were killed, according to Lebanese authorities. The price of oil has risen sharply as the conflict disrupts supplies. Countries are also scrambling to evacuate their citizens from Gulf states under attack from Iran amid widespread flight cancellations and airport closures. A missile hit the grounds of the Fairmont hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Saturday, February 28, as Iranian forces carried out retaliatory strikes following a joint US-Israel assault on Iran. Footage from Alex Bocquet shows a missile overhead followed by a large fire burning the entrance to the hotel, which is located on the Palm Jumeirah, an artificial tree-shaped island in Dubai. The UAE’s foreign ministry earlier said it had intercepted several Iranian missiles that targeted the country, and that an Asian man had been killed by falling missile debris in Abu Dhabi. Authorities said the fire was brought under control, according to local news reports. In Iran, state media said Iranian strikes had targeted US military installations in Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, in retaliation for the US-Israeli strikes on Tehran and other parts of Iran. Dubai residents and AFP correspondents in the city heard several loud bangs following that explosion. "Dubai Civil Defence has confirmed that the resulting fire is now under control. Four individuals sustained injuries and have been transferred to medical facilities," it added. The incident targeting a Dubai landmark shocked residents, and was followed by several bangs heard by Dubai residents and AFP correspondents in the city. Roughly 90 percent of the UAE's population consists of foreigners and Dubai is its most populated city, long associated with opulence and glamour. Iran launched strikes on all the oil-rich Gulf countries except for Oman, a mediator in the US-Iran talks. #dubai #burjkhalifa #iranmissiles #israelattack #cnbctv18 #usa #middleeast
