MACHYNLLETH TO FURNACE PART 2 - Walking The Wales Coast Path

Hello everyone and welcome to Part 2 of the walk from Machynlleth to Furnace on the Wales Coast Path filmed in June 2025! After passing Afon Llyfnant the Wales Coast Path carries on up the road until it turns left up a hill this takes you towards Caerhedyn from here it's two turns right and the Wales Coast Path goes up another hill but this time you start to get the wonderful views of Llyfnant Valley looking back below! Going uphill seemed to last a long time until you get out of the wooded sections and the path flattens out! The views ahead where wonderful it all the greenery ahead waiting to be explored! The path continued until we start going downhill into more wooded section this was a relief as it kept me cool during the hot day! Follow the path until you reach the road then turn right! After turning right on the road the path continues on past Cymerau and past the Afon Melindwr this is also where the you can finish the walk for the day at the Dovey Junction Link Path! But I carried on 2 minutes after you will notice a gate to your left the Wales Coast Path will go up this hill! After a snack and a little break I continued on the views where getting better looking towards Aberdyfi and Borth in the distance this is what the Wales Coast Path is all about!
