Testing Nokta Legend on 0 15g Gold with hot ground

I've been struggling to make progress trying every possible configuration for the Nokta Legend on some mineralised spots where you may get gold. So I decided I will just buy a test sample 0.15g nugget to see if the machine has a chance finding smaller bits. What I discovered next kind of shocked me a little. It does get a positive hit on the 0.15g when it's just over 1 coil distance from the hot rocks with 1cm of mineralised ground on it, but go any deeper, or move it closer to a hot rock and the target is impacted so heavily I doubt anyone would pull up for it if they didn't know it was there. Settings I eventually got best results from were 3 to 4 recovery speed, all metal, 40khz only (20 khz was too chattery, beast mode and Multi were unreliable), sensitivity 25 - 27 (25 was the cleanest I could get..any higher and it again becomes too chattery). Conclusion: Nokta Legend is an absolute beast relic hunter, but not suitable for small gold on mineralised ground where you have hot rocks. Bigger gold, you might get a hit, I'm not sure, I haven't had the luck finding anything, and don't particularly feel like dropping that kind of money to buy a sample piece when I could use the cash to go towards a PI that may find me more.
