On the other side Inner Ring Road Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) dwara construct kiya janewala hai. So basically it's a joint project by both of these authorities. Now lets discuss Pune Outer Ring road in detail. Pune Outer Ring 136 kms Cover karta hai. Out of this 39 kilometres will be four lane road and the remaining 97.8 km will be a six lane road. There are going to be eight tunnels with a total length of 11.29 km and a half a kilometer bridge across Khadakwasla dam. Pune City me traffic ka dusre reason ye bhi hai as Mumbai Pune Solapur aur Mumbai Pune Satara, Kolhapur travel karne walle vehicles city ke bich highway se nikalte hai. So Outer ring road ka motive ye bhi hai that vehicles traveling from one city to another does not enter into the Pune city, that means ring road diverts their route from outside itself, additionally divert karne ke saath saath city ke anek mahatvpurn hissoko connect karna bhi iska ek uddesh hai. Outer Ring road 2 phases me divided hai western and eastern Eastern corridor ki bat kare tho wo start horha hai Urse (i.e Mumbai Pune expressway) se verve tak aur ye around 71 kms. Western corridor bhi kuch rivers cross karte hue nikalta hai like khadakwasla lake, mula river, Kasasai dam, pawana dam. Crosses 41 villages Talukas : Bhor, Maval, Khed, Paud, Hawali and Mulshi. The Pune Outer Ring Road will considerably have a speed limit of 100kph and its expected to be completed by May 2027. Inner Ring road: The name it self says that this road planned construction in and around the city of Pune. Its also known as HCMTR i.e High Capacity mass transit route. PMRDA ye claim karta hai ki traffic congestion ko kaam karega with better access to the fastest growing areas. Length: 83 km. Planned to connect: Pune-Satara Road with Ahmednagar Road. Ye project bhi phases me develop hoga, with the first phase focusing on the stretch from Solu to Soratwardi on the Pune-Solapur Road. Second Phase focus karta hai on building road from Soratwadi to Valve. Features: 42 connecting roads, 17 bridges, and 10 tunnels. Ye bhi batana chahugi that Outer Ring road ka work start hochuka hai and Inner ring road ka work jaldhi shuru hote hue dikhega. Additionally Outer aur inner ring road dono Urse se solu tak overlap hoge and this distance will around 35 kms.
