Gearbox Disassembly - Part 5 Doepke Super Yardbird Ride On Train Outdoor Railway Restoration Project

This video is part 5 where we take apart the gearbox we will be using as a replacement for the missing Super Yardbird gearbox. The gearbox is a Tuff Torq transmission made by Kanzaki from a John Deere 21 inch Walk-Behind Mower. Background: Jerry loves train tracks so why not start on a restoration project consisting of a 1955 Doepke Yardbird Ride On Train Hand Car and a 1956-1959 Doepke Super Yardbird Ride On Train with Caboose for a backyard outdoor train track railway. The plan is for Jerry to take a leading role on this project with technical guidance. He will be doing as much of the work he is safely capable of doing and making decisions on as many aspects of the project that are realistic as well as providing significant input on the artistic, creative, and stylistic choices regarding the video compilations.
