Emulator used: BizHawk 2.10, mgba core Just a heads up, this is hella unoptimized in execution since I wasn't even sure if it was even doable. If something looked questionable that's why. I also forgot to show it off, but battle speed set to 3 and the message speed set to 1. I had a terrible thought. With the GBA port of Final Fantasy V, I had a terrible thought about utilizing the !Calm bug. Since the Blitz whip could proc a low level Thunder spell 33% of the time, could that be used for a possible Omega win with just Beastmasters? Well, yes but it involves lots of healing from getting reflected Thunder procs at all. Lenna with the Hypno Crown gives the highest possible base Beastmaster magic at 26. That makes it a little under 10 levels needed for a magic multiplier. I had a Four Job Fiesta save that happened to not beat Omega yet at level 41, which is within the range of most Fiesta teams by the time they enter the void. Needless to say, I ran the numbers and it takes between 122-130 successful Blitz whip procs to beat Omega after unleashing 4 Yellow dragons. Also worth noting that the accuracy of the Blitz whip is 90%, so realistically it's about a 29.7% chance that a self inflicted Blitz whip attack will create a reflected Thunder hit on Omega. Of course, this TAS gets every Thunder proc with enough high rolls to get the minimum 122 hits at level 41. I think it's possible for someone to do this real time with a lower battle speed and a lot of elixirs on hand, but I wouldn't say this is a reasonable strategy for anyone to actually attempt since alongside execution someone would need a lot of luck to get enough Thunder procs before running out of healing. If you get Beastmaster and no good damaging options, I would highly recommend just getting a new team rather than use this GBA only last resort strategy.
