Yaesu ft710 3.950khz transmit bandwidth procedure test basically 4k wide!

50-4000khz is 3950khz. not 4k . however on the radio scope it looks like it's transmitting wider. I don't believe we can actually trust the scope I need to get some actual equipment out that can measure this at least something rudimentary like the SDR play so the procedure is to hold the mode and noise blinker button down with the power button until you see the Yaesu logo post then you can release the power button and wait for the radio screen to come on completely and then release the other two buttons. then push your function button and in the lower left corner go to radio settings and find the mode SSB and then it'll say TX BPF SEL. you can change that item there with the function key and scroll through the different transmitting bandwidths. 73 n3wer has a video on this as well. check it out.    • Yaesu FT-710 4K SSB Transmit Audio NOW you...   theres a few other videos out there. it should be noted that I did not update my firmware and my radio is over a year old.
