Athens, Greece 2023!

Hello! my wife Linda and I took a trip to Athens this weekend, and this is how it went! We just happen to go there during Greek Independance day which closed alot of things on saturday, but we were still able to experience the Athenian Culture over the weekend! We stayed at a budget hotel in Psirri and regret that decision, the room was all we needed, but they had bugs. Not to mention the Elevator with no door... we had a few hours to spend walking around before our 1st food tour where we got to experince some greek traditonal food. on Saturday we had cancel one of our original plans, but we instead got to do lots of walking and seeing all the cats of athens! they were literally everywhere. Nice thing about it was there were water and food bowls everywhere for them to eat and drink. We also stopped at a souvenir shop and picked up some stuff! towards the end of the day, we went out for Lunch at popular restauraunt called Atlantikos and ate a traditional Independance day meal which included Bakaliaros and Skordalia! Greek fish and chips with garlicky mashed potato's! Fast forward to our last day in Athens, we went on a private tour down to the Riviera all the way to the Temple of Poseidon with a few stops inbetween.
