Distant Trails is a single-player third-person adventure mystery following a group of trail runners on their travels. Protect the big outdoors: A quiet getaway to a remote island to get back to nature and run some trails is about to take a twist into the unexpected. Take your trail runners on an adventure through the varied landscape negotiating the terrain and managing your supplies. Work as a team to uncover the truth about what is happening on the island. Features: A beautiful muddy open world filled with story driven missions and running challenges. Designed by a trail runner to have real world trail running problems to deal with like injury, fuelling and getting enough sleep. Physical running simulation with varying hill gradients and ground surfaces all affecting speed and foot grip. Resource management of supplies on the trail with limited space in backpacks. Control multiple characters with different running strengths to switch between and work together as a team. Continuous save system allows exiting the game at any time and resuming later or quick reloading if need to undo an action.
