Both are made in Canada. Both are EPA 2020 certified. However only the Regncy I 2500 attains the high efficiency to achieve the US biomass tax credit. The Regency stove is 78,000 BTUs and the Napoleon is 54,000 BTUs. The catalytic combuster inside the Regency makes it a superior choice in Byron's opinion- as well as the more stable blower mounting bracket and smooth action of the door handle on the Regency.
