Wild Madagascar - Fantastic Creatures | Free Documentary Nature Watch 'Trouble in Paradise - The Last Lemurs of Madagascar ' here: • Trouble in Paradise - The Last Lemurs of M... Madagascar lies about 250 miles off Africa’s southeast coast and is roughly the size of France, making it the world's fourth-largest island. Isolated from the mainland for over 160 million years, it has evolved a unique ecosystem, home to more than 250,000 species—70% of which exist nowhere else on Earth. Off its shores, the Toliara Reef, the world’s third-largest coral reef system, teems with marine life, from vibrant fish to the endangered Hawksbill turtle. Further out at sea, humpback whales migrate to its waters to mate, performing graceful courtship displays in the deep. Along Madagascar’s shoreline, dense bushland provides food and shelter for many of the island’s unique lemur species. Sifaka lemurs soar up to 30 feet through the air in breathtaking displays of strength and agility. As night falls, baby Flatid bugs emerge to feed on the sap of towering baobab trees. Their feeding frenzy soon attracts larger insects, which in turn lure the island’s tiny but formidable mouse lemur, a swift and opportunistic hunter. Madagascar is also home to chameleons found nowhere else on Earth. With 360-degree vision, they can track both predators and prey simultaneously. Their tongues, capable of accelerating five times faster than a fighter jet, strike at over 30 feet per second—easily snaring even the swiftest insects. Towards the island’s northern tip, a labyrinth of deep caves serves as both a spiritual refuge and a place of shelter for its human inhabitants. In the shadows, giant creatures stir, including the world’s largest millipede. But even more fearsome predators lurk in Madagascar’s darkness—the island’s legendary cave-dwelling crocodiles, the only ones of their kind on the planet. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe to Free Documentary - Nature Channel for free: http://bit.ly/2mFDC3Q Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentaryNature #Documentary #madagascar #wildlife ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bring high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free.
