I also explored the famous Valley of the Kings, where Egypt’s most powerful Pharaohs were buried, including King Tutankhamun. His tomb was discovered in 1922 and became the most famous discovery in history because it was found almost intact with thousands of treasures. Another highlight was the stunning Temple of Hatshepsut, built for one of Egypt’s most powerful female Pharaohs, surrounded by dramatic desert cliffs.
