Today’s run starts in Lowell, Arkansas, where we’ll hook a preloaded relay trailer and head south to Shreveport, Louisiana. After dropping this trailer, we’ll grab another preloaded unit in Shreveport and run it tomorrow into Lebanon, Tennessee. This is a classic relay-style operation — smooth hooks, efficient miles, and heavy interstate driving through the South. Truck & Trailer: • 🚛 2021 Freightliner Cascadia • 🚚 2018 Great Dane Dry Van Freight Flow: • Pickup: Lowell, AR • Drop: Shreveport, LA (today) • Reload: Shreveport, LA • Final Drop: Lebanon, TN (12/11/25) ⸻ 🛣️ Route Overview Lowell, AR → Shreveport, LA I-49 → US-71 → I-49 → I-220 Leaving Northwest Arkansas, we roll south on I-49, passing through the Fort Smith logistics region and the forested hills of western Arkansas. US-71 segments parallel older freight routes before dropping back onto I-49 toward Louisiana. As we approach Shreveport, we’ll use I-220, the northern bypass that keeps trucks out of downtown congestion and provides direct access to industrial drop yards and relay terminals. This corridor is a major regional distribution artery, feeding freight between Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and the Southeast. ⸻ ✅ Trip Mood Efficient, steady relay miles. No-nonsense driving with good interstate flow.
