Is Calais worth visiting? 🇫🇷 How I scammed Flibco bus mafia!
Part two of my journey from my Mum's place in my home county, Kent, to home in Brussels, Belgium. Fresh off the ferry, I explore Calais a bit, try a delicious goat's cheese burger, and then head off to Lille by train from Calais Ville station for the bargain price of just one euro. I then have to hop-foot it quickly across Lille to Gare de Lille Europe to take my arch-nemesis' company, Flibco, on to Brussels airport. I should have paid twenty euro for that ticket, but I only paid five euro thanks to Omio! Once arrived at Brussels airport, I complained a bit about the price of stuff in airports, then took the De Lijn bus into Brussels city centre. All in all, my journey cost me less than 45 euro, less than half the price of what it would have cost me to take a bus from London!
