Please join Mike Garrity, executive director of the Alliance for the Wild Rockies, to learn about the Northern Rockies Ecosystem and why unlogged, old-growth forests provide the best habitat for native species like lynx and what happens to wildlife habitat when you log and fragment forests. Presented by Gallatin Valley Earth Day in partnership with Gallatin Wildlife Association. About Mike Garrity Mike Garrity is the Executive Director of the Alliance for the Wild Rockies. The Alliance for the Wild Rockies is one of the most successful groups defending wildlands and intact ecosystems in the Northern Rockies. Their successful lawsuits have protected tens of hundreds of thousands of acres of public lands from roading, livestock grazing, and logging as well as protecting habitat for endangered species like wolverine, bull trout and grizzlies. Note: A recording of the talk will be available at www.gallatinvalleyearthday.org Presented by Gallatin Wildlife Association, Gallatin Yellowstone Wilderness Alliance and the Alliance for the Wild Rockies in partnership with Gallatin Valley Earth Day
