🚴‍♂️ Uganda’s Wild West | Masindi to Lake Albert | Drunk Man Attack & Beautiful Borderlands 🇺🇬 Cycling alone toward Congo border, national parks, and uphill roads I left Masindi around 8 AM after a good rest. Masindi was surprisingly beautiful — surrounded by green hills, forest, and close to national parks like Murchison Falls. The air was cool, and the road was calm in the morning. 🌍 On the way, I passed near Lake Albert, one of the great lakes of Africa. This lake forms a natural border between Uganda and Congo (DRC). The landscape became more wild and raw — you can feel you're approaching a different world. 🥵 The road was uphill, but smooth. As I pushed forward, something unexpected happened — in the afternoon, a drunk man came out of nowhere and tried to attack me. I stayed calm and managed to escape without getting hurt. These moments remind me that travel is not always easy — you have to stay alert and brave. 🏙 After riding for hours through peaceful but remote roads, I finally reached a small city and found a place to stay for the night. I was tired but thankful. Every day on this bicycle brings something new — good and bad — but all part of the journey.
