oin me as I walk the Ravenel Bridge! First park at Waterfront Park near the Visitor Center. You will see the pedestrian path that takes you to the Ravenel Bridge. Be sure to stay in the pedestrian lane and not in the bike lane. The bikers are speeding down the bridge so you need to stay in the pedestrian lane for safety. The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge connects downtown Charleston to Mount Pleasant. The previous bridge was called the Cooper River Bridge. In 2001 construction began on the Ravenel Bridge. The Ravenel Bridge Walking Path is 2.5 miles long each way. I stopped at the half way point to enjoy the views of the USS Yorktown and the sunset over downtown Charleston and then headed back down the Ravenel Bridge to Waterfront Park. After walking the Ravenel Bridge I walked around Waterfront Park and took in the Charleston Sunset. #RavenelBridge #CharlestonSC #CooperRiverBridge
