Between the Mangrove woods Lamin Lodge, just a little outside Banjul, is hiding on a very nice place at the Gambian river. This lodge is made of Mangrove wood. It's like a giant treehouse. There are monkeys, be carefull if you order food...One very fast monkey steel a sandwich from the plate of my wife, and run off with it. You can hire a nice rowboat with two man who are doing all the work for you. They carry you to the wooden boat, so your feet don't be wet at all. This was the day of our 50 year marriage anniversary and Guide Muhammed Sisawo make it, with this trip and the trip to the Animal Market, a day to remember.
