Our own farm Finca el Suelo – A Journey into Regenerative Coffee Farming

Finca el Suelo is a 7-hectare coffee farm owned and run by Tim Wendelboe. It is located in El Vegón, in the municipality of El Pital, Huila, Colombia, at 1650–1700 masl, right next to Finca Tamana. This is our first time farming coffee, and we see it as a learning project. Our goal is to improve coffee quality and yields through regenerative, biological farming. We work with nature, using homemade compost to bring life back to the soil by boosting beneficial microbes. We believe that healthy soil leads to healthy trees – and better coffee.
