I am Malika Mahmoud Kouti, a teacher at the department of English Language and Literature at Kasdi Merbah University, Ouargla. I got my PhD in September, 2017. My thesis is entitled" The Impact of Text Structure Awareness on ESP Learners' Reading Comprehension"(A Discourse Perspective). Actually, I started teaching at KMUO in March, 2018, but before that date, I was teaching in middle school. I'm interested in reading, writing, phonetics, discourse analysis, pragmatics, didactics, ESP, to mention a few. I've been teaching English for 25 years now. I began teaching it at primary school for 6 years, then I moved to teach it at the secondary school for 4 years. From 2004 to February, 2018, I taught it at middle school. I was also a part time teacher at Ghardaia University for 4 years (2014/2018), and I've been honoured to teach Accounting and Finance BA and MA students besides English majors. In brief, I've been lucky to teach nearly all types of learners from primary school up to the university. All this experience has allowed me to have a big idea and picture about the teaching/ learning processes, and what it means to teach in general and to teach English in particular. I'll be glad to answer any request from teachers and learners of English that is related to my field, English Language Teaching at this channel. Thank you
