Jenna Hauer Willow Waltz 2016 May Day Open

This is the Willow Waltz, skated as part of the Juvenile Combined solo dance competition at the May Day Open. Juvenile Combined consisted of one of the bronze compulsory dances and a free dance. The competitors found out which dance they would skate for the compulsory dance when the start orders were posted. They would also usually find out which of the five ISU selections they would skate to, based on their start order. I say "usually" because the music was supposed to rotate through all five, but sometimes the person playing the music would repeat or skip pieces. Also, there were sometimes scratches or no shows which would also impact the order. The skater needed to prepare for any of the five selections. This competition was one of many qualifiers for the National Solo Dance Final. 5/7/2016 - 1st place (1st in both segments)
