Vincke and Verstuyft are the best detective duo in the Antwerp police. When they are confronted with the murder of a top civil servant, they pull out all the stops to catch the perpetrator. The trail leads to contract killer Angelo Ledda. Ledda is suffering from the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease and has increasing difficulty in carrying out his assignments. Furthermore, when he realises that he has allowed himself to be used for a game of power politics, he decides to go after his clients.
