Hierarchy Problem is a reinterpretation of Half Life aimed at putting the setting in a hopefully moderately more realistic context, that all began when I started making art where the HECU wasn't killing the Black Mesa staff. I should've stopped there, but oh well. I've got a Discord server, by the way. / discord If you liked this video, then you might also like a short story I've written set in that universe - No Further Compromise. A national guardsman attempts to survive the aftermath of the Resonance Cascade with two other survivors he's come across. It's in two parts, but so far, I've only written the first. I've also got a lot more short stories eventually planned, all set within the universe of Hierarchy Problem. Now, unfortunately, this does involve reading. I might narrate it someday, but I'm not gonna make any promises. If you're interested, you can check it out here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/593... Custom subtitles done by MrFanatic33, all thanks to them for that. You can also read the original document at the link below, which has a bunch of extra goodies like communications transcripts through the Black Mesa Incident, worldbuilding notes for the world outside of Black Mesa, a style guide, and more. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1B...
