After exactly 6 months on the road I am meeting my sister in Krakow. Sometimes you need to get far away from each other for a long time in order to realise how much you really love each other. Two weeks of relaxing in Krakow did good to me and got me energized to cycle towards the Tatra mountains. Steep switchback roads and near vertical offroad tracks take me through the Slovakian nature. I go for a hike to Slovakia's most iconic mountain, the Krivan. In thick fog and bad weather conditions I cycle up the highest road in Slovakia, to Kralova Hola. It turns out to be my worst night ever due to extreme weather.
