Big Carp : First time using alarms : Broke my PB : Hayton Lakes Fishery, Retford : Shoveler Lake.

Having recently caught a good sized Carp on a feeder set up at Hayton Lakes, I decided to have a go at improving on my previous best capture. I returned to try my hand using some more serious Carp gear, in this case heavier tackle and alarms. In this video I try to get to understand what drives specialist Carp anglers sit under a bivvy for days on end waiting for the big fish to take the bait. I explain what I think is the attraction. See how I got on during my adventure. I fished a number of pegs on Shoveler Lake which is a day ticket water.
